100 Word Challenge Week 18

I was walking for an errand to get milk. In a narrow street I passed some random rocks and out of nowhere I heard whispers. I was filled with consternation when I heard the unclear voices. I tried following the voices .However, they led me to the rocks. I was pondering what they were saying. Until I realized it was,”join us.”  As seconds passed the voices grew louder. I was beseeching for mercy but all they did was declined. Seconds later I realized that I had joined them. I saw a  girl then out of nowhere I said,” join us.”
